White Lye

White Lye Universal is suitable for lye treatment of needles and hardwood floors and other light wooden surfaces.

Description

White Lud gives a uniform whitewashed appearance with a clear structure. Treatment with lye reduces the wood's natural yellowing.

Pretreatment

Before treatment, the wooden surface must be raw, clean and completely free of old residues of oil, varnish or paint.

Application

White lye Universal is applied with a brush or roller in an even, uniform layer in the lengthwise direction of the wood.

Any overlaps are smoothed out while the wood is still wet. When the wood is dry, sand it, with a smooth-fine sandpaper to remove fiber that may have raised from the wood surface, and possibly excess color. If a whiter appearance is desired, the treatment is repeated.

Shake the can before use and use undiluted.

Safety

The product is alkaline. Use gloves and avoid getting the product in your eyes.
