Turquiose green (G7)
Turquiose green is a French-produced, synthetically produced copper-containing, mineral pigment fixed on a natural calcium carbonate base. The pigment has a light, clear, pure blue-green color, almost like aquamarine.
The pigment is light, water, oily and calcareous and can be mixed with all media.
Lightfastness
6-7 (on a scale where 1 is poor, 8 is best.)
Color power
Semi-transparent.
Miscibility with other colors
The pigment can be mixed with any color.
Binders
Can be used with all binders.
Areas of application
Can be used both indoors and outdoors and especially for artist colors.
Safety
The pigment is described as non-toxic. However, it is always advisable to use a dust mask when working with pigments.
