Application
The beeswax wash is applied to matte, white, cleaned surfaces with a wide brush or sponge in paths from ceiling to floor. The paint's fast drying time and transparency cause overlaps, where the color looks stronger. Therefore, work preferably wet in wet and finish one wall at a time. Corners as well as edges along the panel and ceiling can be covered with tape so that the painted wall after treatment is framed by the white edge when the tape is removed.
Moisture if necessary. the wall lightly before applying the paint.
The beeswax wash is stirred before each dip with a brush or sponge in the bucket. Apply a little of the paint on the bucket before working on the wall so that the beeswax wash does not run.
Be consistent in your choice of application technique and make any. sample strokes on paper before starting to work on the wall.
Pretreatment
The wash should be applied to cleaned, matte, white walls. The beeswax glaze must have something to "sit in", therefore the gloss on the white base must not exceed 5. Colored walls are painted with a matte, white paint, eg natural paint. The white paint should dry min. 2 days before applying the beeswax wash.
