KEIM granital is a solid, matt, diffusion-open silicate paint for use on exterior masonry.

The Paint does not contain MI, BIT, VOC or microplastic.

Pretreatment

Before treatment, the surface must be clean, dry, greasy and dust-free.

The paint must be applied to purely mineral substrates such as lime mortar.

Highly absorbent or sanding surfaces must be treated with KEIM fixative diluted in water in a ratio of 1: 1 or 1: 2 before repainting.

Organic substrates (such as acrylic-based paints) with good load-bearing capacity must be pre-treated with KEIM Contact Plus.

Application

The paint is applied with a roller, broom or sprayed on.

Covers

Approx. 7 m2 / liter on non-absorbent surfaces. KEIM Granital is usually applied in 2 coats.

Drying time

Mine. 12 hours.

Tool cleaning

Abundant amounts of water. Tools can be stored in water for short breaks.

Shelf life

Approx. 12 months in closed packaging for cool, frost-free storage.

Mal-kode

00-3. The paint is very alkaline. Protect skin and eyes. Protect surfaces such as ceramics, glass and clay stones from splashes from the paint.
